Preferred Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
• Highly Qualified to teach the Arts with LQ, LX or LZ endorsement
• Highly Qualified to teach any core content area
• Exceptional skills in planning, delivering and assessing student learning
• Working knowledge of best practice strategies
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Ability to provide and maintain an orderly classroom environment
