Qualifications:

• Minimum BS/BA degree
• Possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate 
• Demonstrate passion, enthusiasm, and expertise in content area, as well as working with middle/high school students
• Must be able to work with an academically diverse student population 
• Willingness to learn from and collaborate with other professional educators
• Commitment to participate in ongoing professional development
• Professional in personal conduct and action
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to document and evaluate student achievement data
• Willingness to serve on building and district level committees
